Astrological Art Challenge: Day 2 – Asteroid Arachne conjunct Mercury

I had no intention whatsoever of “going there” on Day 2 of The Astrological Illustration of the Day: 30 Day Art Challenge. My artist’s mind (which to my best knowledge is not currently being impacted by Arachne) had other ideas and I (reluctantly) surrendered.

By tomorrow I may be on to something else, but today I am fixated on that damn Arachne (dementia) and how she tangled herself around my mother’s Mercury (mind), choking it to death. The idea here was not great art but the plaque-y, sticky, permeating quality of Mercury (mind) conjunct Arachne (dementia) opposite Uranus (incurable) square Pallas (pattern making ability).

Not for nothing, I pretty much depressed myself floating around in this mess.

I am hoping I will lighten up on myself tomorrow. Say a prayer for me.
